Ernest Foundation is seeking a passionate, creative and community-minded volunteer Content Creator to help amplify our voice, showcase our work and tell the stories of the communities we serve in Orange Farm. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys photography, videography, social media and storytelling and wants to use their skills to make a meaningful difference. Key Responsibilities Capture quality photographs and short videos of Ernest Foundation activities, projects and community programmes. Create engaging social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Document community outreach activities and beneficiary stories respectfully and professionally. Assist with promoting fundraising campaigns, donation drives and community events. Create content to support campaigns such as Mandela Day, the Fatso Pad Project, clothing drives and food-security initiatives. Promote the “Safe Home for Gogo” Emergency Shelter Project and help communicate its fundraising and sponsorship needs. Develop creative posts, captions, posters, reels and short promotional videos. Help increase Ernest Foundation's online visibility and engagement. Assist in highlighting the impact of donors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners. Maintain an organised collection of photographs and videos for future communications and fundraising purposes. The Impact Your storytelling will help Ernest Foundation reach more people, attract new supporters, engage potential donors and strengthen relationships with corporate sponsors. By showing the real impact of our work, your contribution can help us secure the resources needed to continue supporting women, children, families and vulnerable members of the Orange Farm community. Requirements Basic smartphone photography and videography skills. Familiarity with social media platforms. Basic content-writing and storytelling skills. Creativity and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Respect for community members and confidentiality. A genuine passion for community development and social impact. Experience in Canva, CapCut or other content-creation tools will be an advantage, but is not essential.
