Help GirlCode with 10 volunteers for Teaching coding to high school students

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

GirlCode is looking for facilitators to run weekend classes and holiday coding classes. This role requires an extraordinarily creative individual who has a proven talent for both crafting exceptional lessons and delivering them. The role will involve coming to grips with GirlCode’s problem based educational philosophy along with helping the team research, design, implement and review new curricular material. Responsibilities • Facilitation of weekend classes every second Saturday and during school holidays – potentially working with participants from Grade 8 to Grade 10. • Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of the existing GirlCoder club programme. (edited) Prior experience with code and/or robotics will be extremely helpful but is not essential. However, whatever your background, you should be willing to take time to enrol in recommended online classes that will get you up to speed or extend your existing knowledge.
