Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
WCAPD have been providing social services to persons with disabilities for more than a decade. As an NGO, we are largely dependent on private funding in order to provide our clients with assistive devices, infrastructure, as well as achieving our goal of constantly increasing our capacity to provide quality care and assistance to the most vulnerable persons in our society. It is for this reason that we organize events such as this Gala Dinner, and we depend on organizations and companies such as yours to raise much-needed funds to further our mandate within the Western Cape. Our services include rendering social development services, skills development programs, as well as work and employment, and childcare education. Our facilities include 10 special care and day centres for children with severe to profound disabilities up to the age of 18 years, skills development and employment opportunities to those aged 18 and over who cannot access the open labour market. The theme for this year’s event is “The Oscars-Disability Heroes”. We are focusing on celebrating stories on persons that are successfully living with disabilities and our keynote speaker Mathys Roets will set the tone perfectively for that night. Due to financial constraint, we are hoping as a means of giving back to the society that you help us with Monetary Donation toward our expenses and in exchange, WCAPD can issue you with an 18A certificate on request. • R 1,000.00 This is a great opportunity for your company to give back as well as showing the public that you have invested in a corporate social responsibility program we will thank you publically on Social Media and at the event. As a registered NPO with a Section 18A your contribution is TAX deductible.
