Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

🚴‍♂️ Pedalling with Purpose: Helping Mispah School! One of the beneficiaries of Extreme Cycle for Hunger is Mispah School for Children living with disabilities. Every year, visiting the Mispah School for LSEN is a true highlight of our tour. This year, they’ve reached out with specific needs, and we want to show up for them in a big way. How you can help: • School Shoes & Socks: A basic necessity that makes a world of difference. • Water: Essential support following the recent fires in the area. • Stationery Hampers: Helping these amazing students thrive in the classroom. If you’d like to get involved or donate, please send an inbox or call us directly at 076 481 0778. Let’s make this year’s stop at Mispah the best one yet!

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
