This year, our aim is to collect enough donations to hand out at least 1500 boxes. JDC distributes the Christmas Shoe Boxes in black bags, from a walled premises, ensuring that the children cannot see what the parents have received. JDC will distribute any additional overflow gifts to other Non-Profit organisations they work with, to make use of them, for other children in need. Instructions: In an effort to keep it fair and equal total value is R150 with only 1 toy per box. Shoeboxes to be delivered to the offices by the 01 December. Contents: 1 x Christmas Shoe Box - Name Tag [Marked with Gender, Age Group in pencil] - 1 x New Toy [ age appropriate & gender neutral if possible] - Toiletries - Stationery Items - Sweets/treat Age groups Boy, girl or Unisex: 0-2 years /3-5 years /6-10 years / 11-13 years / 14-18. In the event that we have to make up our own shoeboxes , we are also, asking for donations : - Wrapping Paper - Celo Tape - Xmas Labels - Empty Shoe Boxes
