In the midst of a global pandemic, our need to help the less fortunate has not abated. We lovingly care for children, survivors of domestic violence, the frail and aged. Our most important task for the year is to safeguard our 726 residents and 400 staff against the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. By implementing strict protocols, Matron Harilal and our dedicated frontline healthcare workers are ensuring that the pandemic does not easily spread on our premises. We provide masks, sanitisers and protective suits for our staff. We also ensure that our home is regularly fogged. These measures cost our home an additional R100, 000 per month.
