We need your help... In December, we want to support 200 children and their families in Alexandra Township with mental health services and take-home resource kits. We're looking for 10 companies to support us with small donations of R5,000. Each donation will help us support 20 families. The best part is we are a tax-exempt Section 18A public benefit organisation, which means you get something too. Since March, Play Africa has been working to keep educational play, healing and connection a priority, especially in our hardest hit communities where the need is felt most acutely. Play Africa has provided free educational programmes to children and direct psychosocial support to parents and caregivers through phone calls, virtual and in-person support groups, professional referrals, and donations of resource kits to children and families. We've made a direct impact on 4,689 families... but many more families deserve the support we can provide. Our programmes have brought happy tears and smiles to the faces of children. Through our referrals, parents and caregivers are getting critical information to help their families. Our hope...
