More about Play Africa
Play Africa is a pioneering children's museum in southern Africa and globally-recognised innovator in education. We use disruptive innovation to make quality early childhood development (ECD) and foundation phase learning accessible to all children and the public, creating unparalleled opportunities to strengthen family bonds and social cohesion. While physically located at Constitution Hill, Johannesburg, we are a children’s museum without walls. Through our decentralised mobile engagement model, we expand our reach to marginalised communities, making us the most inclusive children's museum in the world. Our interventions and solutions develop in children and adults a creative mindset through cognitive thinking and support innovations in education with the potential for sustainability, scalability, as well as replication on a wide scale and in different languages. On 3 November 2021, we were named "one of the world's most impactful and replicable education innovators" by HundrED ...
