Our Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre in NU29, a remote area of Motherwell, requires a gas fridge due to the lack of electricity on site. Our current gas fridge is old and unreliable, making it difficult for us to properly store and preserve the food and supplies for our children of Under the Tree. Under the Tree ECD Centre serves +/- 45 children between the ages of two and five years old. This essential appliance will ensure food lasts longer and that the food we serve is safe for the children. Without a fridge, our ability to provide quality care is significantly compromised.
