Help Fountain of Love Orphanage by Party Food for Volunteers
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Fountain of Love Orphanage is celebrating 21 years of service! Since opening our doors in 2003 with just three volunteers, our orphanage has grown immensely to meet the needs of our community. Today, we are blessed with a team of 25 loyal, dedicated volunteers who selflessly give their time, energy, and compassion to support the children in our care. Our volunteers are truly the backbone of our organization. They assist with our many programs, from educational support to essential daily care, all without the assurance of a regular stipend. Despite our annual applications for funding through Social Development, we have not received the necessary support for volunteer stipends. Instead, they depend on food parcels, clothing, and toiletries provided by the orphanage. As we celebrate this 21st year, our deepest wish is to honor these remarkable volunteers with a special Christmas party to show our appreciation. This celebration would allow us to give them a day filled with joy, gratitude, and recognition for the incredible difference they make in the lives of our children every day. We are reaching out to ask for your support in making this celebration possible. Our Wish List: 25 Golf T-shirts and caps with our logo (quotation attached) 25 x food parcels or Makro gift cards as we have a special discount with them. CATERING FOR THE DAY: R 1000 T/Bone steak and wors. 3 x 5 kg chicken drumsticks 24 x 2LT cold drinks 2 x bags potatoes 2 x 3kg mayonnaise Snacks 1 x box tomatoes 1 x bag onion 100 x bread rolls 2 x 5L cooking oil 10 x 3kg bags ice Transport to Germiston Lake R 2800,00 Your generosity would not only bring joy to our volunteers but would also reinforce their importance and remind them how much they are valued by our community. Thank you for considering this request and for your continued support of Fountain of Love Orphanage. We would be honored to partner with you to make this Christmas celebration a memorable occasion for our dedicated volunteers.
