Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Our Community gardens project has 10-15 ladies from our community who are unemployed and wanting to develop skills to generate their own income. The project includes training for 18 months while they use our grounds to farm and harvest their own veggies. We also work with other stakeholders to train them in business skills to market their sales. Part of our expenses includes purchasing safety wear such as gloves and boots for them. We also have to regularly hire a TLB to maintain our large site because of the rains. Your donation will help support these women in their professional development.
