More about Empower Izwe SA
We are a community-based organisation that helps GBV survivors and women rebuild their lives through digital and technical skills training. Many of the women we reach have survived abuse and are starting over, often with limited access to education, stable income, or a safe path back into the workforce. We believe skills, not charity, are what create lasting independence. Through hands-on digital literacy, IT support, networking and other technical skills training, we help women move from vulnerability to employability. Learners build practical, in-demand skills that employers recognise, alongside the confidence that comes from having a trade of their own. Training is only part of it. We walk alongside the women in our programme with mentorship, peer support, and a safe, judgement-free space to learn at their own pace, whatever stage of healing or rebuilding they are at. Our aim is simple: every woman who comes through our programme should leave with more than a certificate...
