South Africa has a teaching crisis. We're fixing it at the source. Most education interventions work around the classroom. The Instructional Leadership Institute (ILI) works inside it, by transforming the leaders who shape what happens there every single day. SA's learning crisis is well documented. What's less understood is why it persists. A struggling teacher needs a great leader behind them, someone who observes, coaches, holds the bar and builds a culture of accountability. In under-resourced schools, that leader rarely exists. Not because of bad people, but because of missing support. That's the gap ILI fills. We work directly with school leaders across South Africa, combining structured training, on-site coaching and ongoing monitoring. We don't do one-and-done workshops. We embed.
