On Saturday, 07 June 2025, Khula Unqobe Creative Arts joyfully celebrated Bee Day, bringing together learners and facilitators to raise awareness about the importance of bees in our ecosystem. The event was filled with fun, creativity, and learning, featuring bee-themed art activities, educational discussions about pollination and environmental conservation, and interactive games. Learners expressed their knowledge and appreciation for nature through drawings, performances, and poetry. The


“Buzzing with Purpose: A Bee Day to Remember” The sun rose gently over Kokosi on the morning of Saturday, 07 June 2025, casting a golden glow on the gathering space at Khula Unqobe Creative Arts. It was no ordinary Saturday—excitement filled the air as learners arrived wearing yellow and black, ready to celebrate Bee Day with creativity, curiosity, and joy. From the moment the event began, it was clear this would be a special day. Facilitators welcomed the children with big smiles and a warm invitation into the world of bees—a world buzzing with life, learning, and purpose. The program opened with a short storytelling session about the crucial role bees play in pollinating plants, supporting ecosystems, and helping us grow the food we eat. Learners listened intently, their minds opening to the wonders of nature in the smallest of creatures.
