More about Ladles of Love
Our founder, Danny, started Ladles of Love with one small soup kitchen serving soup to the homeless once a week on St. Georges Mall. Today, we serve hundreds of thousands of our unhoused guests who frequent our Dignity Kitchen where we serve dinner four times a week, but lunch and dinner daily during the December - January period. Our Nourish Our Children supports vulnerable children, their teachers and principals with two nutritious meals daily from our depots throughout the Western Cape, Gauteng and the Northern Cape regions. To reach further, be more sustainable, and help communities support themselves, ensuring proper nutrition to children in the early childhood development centres ensure that children are secured a brighter future. Our foundation is about more than providing meals. It’s about dignity, respect, and creating the kind of world we all want to live in.
