The Ask: We seek a secondhand vehicle (running or needing minor repairs) for our Mitchells Plain NPO. We accept it "as-is" and cover all roadworthy, licensing, and repair costs. Why We Need It: Our current vehicle is a small Mazda 2 hatchback. It breaks down constantly and is too small. We must regularly turn down bulk corporate donations of library books, blankets, and food simply because our hatchback cannot carry the cargo. We want to redirect our repair budget away from this small car into a practical, larger donated vehicle. Our Impact: Every week in Mitchells Plain, our team delivers: Literacy & Phonics Clinics: Overcoming reading blocks and gifting books. Psychosocial Support: Trauma guidance and safe spaces for at-risk youth. Family & Senior Relief: Distributing winter clothing and weekly bulk meals.
