SUMMITS WITH A PURPOSE

Founded by Saray Khumalo, Summits With A Purpose and Trek4Education believe in harnessing adventure to create lasting educational opportunities. Our shared mission is to empower underprivileged youth by providing access to quality education, breaking cycles of poverty, and fostering brighter futures. The foundation has to date built 16 libraries in South Africa over the past decade. Summits With A Purpose drives awareness and funds through challenging expeditions. Saray herself leads groups to the "Roof of Africa" (Mount Kilimanjaro) every Women's Day, symbolizing the uphill battle many children face for education. These climbs inspire broad support, with every summit directly supporting our educational goals. Trek4Education is our direct action arm, channeling funds into tangible educational initiatives like scholarships, school improvements, and teacher training.
