Help SUMMITS WITH A PURPOSE by Angelique, Mark Reedy and Saray Khumalo for Building the next digital library for future leaders
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Angelique and Mark Reedy are gearing up for #Trek4Education25, training rigorously with Summits With A Purpose. They'll join a multinational team of women, led by the inspiring Saray Khumalo, to summit Mount Kilimanjaro on Women's Day 2025. This annual expedition, kicking off on August 3rd with the summit planned for August 9th, isn't just about reaching Africa's highest peak. Every step taken on this trek is dedicated to a powerful cause: raising funds to build and equip digital libraries in underprivileged communities across South Africa and the wider continent. By establishing digital libraries, we're not just providing books; we're opening up a world of knowledge with 24/7 access to vast online resources, e-books, educational apps, and multimedia content. This approach empowers students with modern learning tools, bridging the digital divide and ensuring continuous access to information, regardless of their physical location or traditional library hours. Through the power of digital education, this initiative aims to change the narrative for the next generation, offering them a brighter future filled with knowledge and opportunity.
Helpful tips
Stay safe
