Ubomi Charitable Trust

Future Stars is a community-based youth development programme serving children and young people from Overcome Heights and Capricorn in Cape Town. These communities face significant challenges, including poverty, gangsterism, substance abuse, violence, and a lack of positive role models. Since 2015, we have used football as a tool to engage young people and build long-term, meaningful relationships. Through regular training sessions, mentorship, life skills discussions, leadership development, educational activities, tournaments, outings, and family engagement events, we create safe and structured environments where young people can grow and thrive. Our focus extends beyond football. We help young people develop confidence, resilience, responsibility, leadership skills, and hope for their future.
