Help National Rescue for Poverty & Drugs by Donate Food & Winter Warmth Relief Packs for Vulnerable Families
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
National Rescue for Poverty and Drugs (NRPD) operates a continuous, daily food security network across our local communities. Everyday inflation and freezing winter temperatures mean that more and more vulnerable families, children, and elderly residents are arriving at our doorstep facing the dual crisis of severe hunger and the bitter cold. We are urgently appealing to individuals, groups, and corporates to partner with us through immediate drop-offs or financial pledges to help us stock our emergency relief baskets. How you can support us right now: Pledge Financial Support: Make a direct financial contribution to help us buy bulk staple ingredients (rice, maize meal, oil, beans) or purchase winter essentials in bulk. Winter Warmth Donations: Donate warm blankets and winter clothing (jackets, beanies, scarves, socks, and warm tops) in good condition to protect families from the harsh weather. On-Demand Food Delivery: You don't even have to leave your home or office to help! You can easily purchase non-perishable groceries or fresh staples on on-demand delivery apps like Checkers Sixty60 or Pick n Pay ASAP! and have them delivered directly to our address. In-Person Drop-offs: Drop off non-perishable food items, blankets, and clothing directly at our offices. Your quick response ensures that a family in our programs is fed and kept warm tonight. As an approved Section 18A PBO, NRPD can issue a Tax Certificate for all financial pledges and formal corporate donations. Please click 'Respond to Need' to receive our official drop-off address and banking details
