DONATE TO EMPOWER WOMEN WITH CATERING SKILLS From Skills to Income. From Training to Entrepreneurship. Dear Potential Partner/Donor, Help Us Equip Women With Skills That Can Create Income Yes We Can Business Women Network is seeking support for a Women’s Catering Skills Empowerment Programme designed to equip women with practical catering, hospitality and entrepreneurship skills that can be transformed into sustainable income-generating opportunities. For many women, the challenge is not a lack of determination or ambition. It is the lack of access to practical skills, equipment, resources, markets and opportunities needed to turn their abilities into viable businesses. We want to help change that. Our Goal We aim to create a practical training environment where women can learn: Basic and advanced catering skills Food preparation and presentation Baking and confectionery Food hygiene and safety Menu planning and costing Portion control and pricing Catering for functions and events Customer service Stock and financial management Small-business management Marketing and digital promotion Entrepreneurship and income-generation skills The programme will focus not only on learning a skill, but on helping women understand how to turn that skill into an income-generating enterprise. We Are Seeking Donations Of: Commercial and domestic catering equipment Ovens and stoves Refrigerators and freezers Pots, pans and cooking utensils Baking equipment Mixing machines Food preparation equipment Serving equipment and crockery Tables and catering furniture Aprons, uniforms and protective clothing Ingredients and food supplies Packaging materials Training materials Computers and laptops for business and digital training Financial sponsorship for training programmes and starter kits New and quality second-hand equipment is welcome. Your Donation Can Create More Than a Meal A donated oven can help a woman learn to bake. A donated mixer can help her develop a baking business. Catering equipment can help her serve her first client. Business training can help her understand pricing, costing and profitability. And a small business can help her generate an income for herself and contribute to the wellbeing of her family. This is why we are not simply asking for catering equipment. We are asking you to invest in women's economic empowerment.
