Help Us Equip Young People With Practical Skills for Their Future Yes We Can Business Women Network is expanding its vocational skills development programmes to provide young men with practical, hands-on training in electrical work, carpentry and plumbing. We are appealing to businesses, organisations, manufacturers, construction companies, hardware suppliers, professionals and individuals to donate tools and workshop equipment that will enable our trainees to learn through practical experience. Many young people have the motivation to work and build a better future, but lack access to practical training, tools and opportunities to develop marketable technical skills. We want to help change this. Our Vision We aim to establish a properly equipped practical training workshop where young men can develop skills that can lead to: Employment Apprenticeships Self-employment Small-business creation Contracting opportunities Further technical education Sustainable income generation Our approach is simple: LEARN → PRACTICE → DEVELOP COMPETENCE → BECOME EMPLOYABLE → CREATE INCOME We Are Seeking Workshop Equipment For: ⚡ ELECTRICAL TRAINING We welcome donations of appropriate training tools and equipment, including: Electrical tool sets Screwdrivers and insulated tools Pliers and cutters Wire strippers Multimeters and testing equipment Electrical training boards Cable and wiring materials Conduit and fittings Circuit breakers and electrical components Distribution-board training equipment Electrical safety equipment Extension leads and related workshop equipment 🔨 CARPENTRY TRAINING We are seeking equipment such as: Workbenches Hand saws Circular saws Jigsaws Drills Screwdrivers and tool sets Hammers and mallets Chisels Planes Clamps Measuring and marking tools Levels and squares Sanding equipment Woodworking hand tools Protective equipment 🚰 PLUMBING TRAINING We welcome donations including: Plumbing tool sets Pipe cutters Pipe wrenches Adjustable wrenches Pliers Pipe threading tools Pipe bending equipment Plumbing training rigs PVC and other training pipe materials Fittings and connectors Valves and taps Water-system training components Safety equipment
