Help The Grové Schoombee Foundation NPC by donating funds for abandoned & vulnerable babies and sick children
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
While product donations like nappies, formula, food, and baby goods are deeply appreciated, the biggest challenge we face is cash flow. Running a place of safety and a paediatric palliative care programme requires far more than physical items — it takes skilled staff, 24/7 care, and consistent infrastructure to keep everything going. Every month we need to cover salaries for our caregivers, nurses, and coordinators, as well as utilities, transport costs, and essential running expenses. Without these, we simply cannot continue providing the love, stability, and medical support our babies and children need. This is why financial donations are vital. They give us the flexibility to meet urgent needs, pay bills on time, and ensure continuity of care for the little ones who depend on us. Even the smallest monthly contribution helps us plan better and sustain the quality of care. By giving financially, you’re not only supporting abandoned babies and children with life-limiting conditions — you’re investing in the people and systems that make their daily care possible.

Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
