Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The National Institute for the Deaf - Adult Care department (Lewensruimte) celebrated its 47th birthday in August 2025. Our 50 multiple-disabled Deaf residents are all Deaf with one or more additional disabilities. NID is their home and food security and provision for these residents is one of our top priorities. We strive to continuously provide nutritious and sustainable meals that meet our residents' nutritional needs for an active and healthy lifestyle. Having a full stomach, repletion and contentment is a precious blessing in today's difficult and uncertain times. In celebration of their special day, we would therefore like to request if any of our friends would please be willing to support them with non-perishable food products to the benefit of a Deaf resident. If you would like to contribute, please contact us and we will send you the needs list. Email : proposals@nid.org.za; or WhatsApp : 063 464 8197
