Help The Winnie Mabaso Foundation by donating stop nets, and net for goal posts for our sports field
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
For many of the children in our community, our sports field is that place. It’s where they run off their energy after school, learn to work as a team, build confidence, and create memories that will stay with them for years to come. Every day, the field is used by our soccer and netball teams, preschool children, and many children from the surrounding community. It provides a safe space where they can play, belong, and focus on something positive. Unfortunately, years of daily use have left the field’s facilities in poor condition. The stop nets that prevent balls from rolling onto the nearby highway are worn out, and the goalpost nets are badly damaged and need replacing. By helping us restore these essential facilities, you will be investing in much more than a sports field. You will be helping to create a safe environment where children can stay active, develop discipline and teamwork, and experience the joy and pride that comes from playing sport in a space that is cared for.

Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
