Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Initiative Youth Development Program (IYDP) is a registered non-profit organisation that alleviates social challenges faced by vulnerable communities daily. "Social challenge" refers to a problem or issue that negatively affects a community or group of people. It can also refer to an individual's struggle. Through innovative initiatives and programs, IYDP strives to create a positive and lasting impact on such communities, allowing them to thrive. The IYDP is committed to helping vulnerable communities by providing capacity building, skill development, and training, leading to tangible economic benefits and ultimately improved livelihoods for all. By providing targeted skills training and capacity building, the IYDP empowers members of vulnerable communities to create job opportunities and eliminate the social challenges they face. By building the capacities of the members of these vulnerable communities, the IYDP can empower them to make positive changes in their own lives and the lives of others around them. With that being said, skills development is an ongoing project that helps youth find out which career path they fall into. By actively engaging in skills development, youth can discover their ideal career path and gain the necessary skills to succeed. It also helps them find out what process is required to participate in or kick-start their journey. Furthermore, this process of self-discovery can provide youth with the opportunity to gain confidence and cultivate a passion for the career they have chosen. Unemployed youth, gap-year students, and undergraduates participate in this project once a year, with stakeholders included. As Jonas Salk, the discoverer of the polio vaccine, once said, “There is hope in dreams, imagination, and the courage of those who wish to make those dreams a reality.” We would like to ask for your contribution by donating food for the project event, which will take place on June 16, 2023. Your generous donations will help make the project event a reality and create a lasting impact for those in need. It may be your opportunity to share some sentimental values through your yearly community engagement. Donating food for the event is an excellent way to express your sentiment and support for the community. Kind Regards Koketso Chuma
