Help The Men Carve NPC by Supporting awareness programmes and educational seminar for Men, women, boys, girls, and marginalised communities
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
The Men Carve needs support to strengthen our programmes and reach more communities. We are seeking financial assistance, office space, and transport to conduct school visits, university engagements, workshops, and community outreach activities. We also need reliable transport to collect food donations and deliver food parcels to vulnerable students and communities. To strengthen our food security initiatives, we require storage space, a fridge, soup kitchen facilities, and cooking equipment to prepare and distribute meals to people in need. We also welcome skilled volunteers who can assist with fundraising, marketing, book keeping, administration, project management, mentorship, and programme implementation. As some of our volunteers are based in Gauteng, we would like to expand our work into the province by establishing a Gauteng presence. Support with networking, office, venues, resources, and partnerships would help us reach more schools, universities, and communities. Every contribution, whether through professional skills, donated goods, funding, facilities, or transport, would help us promote healthy manhood, prevent gender-based violence, and support vulnerable communities. We welcome individuals and businesses who share our vision of creating safer, more respectful, and inclusive communities.

Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
