Help Youth Start by Youthstart Foundation for Highschool Boys
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
What About The Boys? is more than just a programme it’s a movement of hope, healing, and transformation. It addresses one of South Africa’s deepest challenges: raising a generation of boys who understand that real strength lies in empathy, accountability, and respect for others. The work we do goes beyond classrooms and workshops. It reaches homes, families, and entire communities, changing how young men see themselves and how society sees them. When a boy learns to value kindness over control, dialogue over dominance, and respect over fear, he not only changes his own life but helps change the trajectory of his family and future relationships. Our message is simple but urgent: we cannot end gender-based violence without including boys and men in the solution. What About The Boys? gives them the language, tools, and safe spaces to grow into the kind of men our communities desperately need - men who build, not break; who protect, not harm. We want people to know that every conversation, every mentorship, and every screening is a step toward a South Africa where equality, safety, and compassion are the norm. Supporting this cause means investing in prevention, not just reaction - in education, not punishment - and in boys, who will become the fathers, partners, and leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can raise a generation of boys who are proud to say, “We will do better.”
