Help Father A Nation raise R50000 for growing our school programmes for Nelson Mandela Month.
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
HONOUR TATA MADIBA’S LEGACY BY HELPING US FATHER A NATION Nelson Mandela, the father of our nation, championed caring for and educating our nation’s children as a key to our country’s future. The sad reality is that today over 60% of South African children are growing up without a present, engaged father. And research shows a clear link between fatherlessness and most of the serious social ills facing our nation. Father A Nation (FAN) is fighting to change this. We firmly believe that “if we can heal men and restore fathers, we can heal society.” The Non-Profit Organisation FAN has developed award winning programmes and material in the areas of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Positive Masculinity which are being used across South Africa in schools, colleges, communities, corporations and governmental departments. Our mission is to heal, inspire and equip boys and men to be nation builders who use their strength for good and stand against any form of abuse. We are helping to raise a nation of good men, fathers and role models who love, serve and protect their families and communities. We also teach girls and women their value, how to stay safe from abuse and harness their unique potential. To date we have touched over 370,000 lives across South Africa. But we cannot do it alone. We need your help. By intervening at a young age we help break the cycle of fatherlessness and destructive masculine behaviour and build a safe and prosperous future for all.
