Help us keep moving forward – one pedal at a time At The Character Company, our cycling team is a powerful extension of our weekly MENtorship sessions and life-changing camps. It doesn’t replace the meaningful mentoring our boys receive, it adds to it. Through cycling, our boys and MENtors train, plan, and ride side-by-side, building deeper bonds, encouraging each other, and growing together in character, discipline, and resilience. Tragically, eight of our mountain bikes were stolen. But even in this loss, we have found new purpose. Cycling has become more than just a sport, it’s now a tool for hope and sustainability. Every year, we participate in events like the 94.7 Cycle Challenge in Joburg, using them to raise much-needed funds to support the work we do in MENtoring boys into good men. Until now, we have been borrowing bikes. But we dream of having our own bikes that our boys can train with, race with, and take pride in maintaining. Each bike will remain the property of the TCC Cycling Team but will be allocated to a specific boy for as long as he is part of the team. If you are willing or able to donate or sponsor a good entry-level mountain bike, you won't just be giving a bicycle, you will be investing in a boy’s journey of growth, confidence, and purpose.
