Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
VUSA has been donated the Atlas Digibus - a bus that has been purpose built into a mobile classroom housing 40 laptops and 2 teaching stations. Whilst the equipped bus has been donated, in order to run impactful programmes in Langa, VUSA will need to fund the programme and running costs. The programme requires a driver, a teacher and a teacher's assistant as well as IT support and security. The schools we work with in Langa have lost so much class time over the past two years. This mobile classroom will be able to provide support where it is needed most. VUSA has partnered with Bishops Diocesan College and this provides access to Bishops excellent learning materials and staff making possibilities for programmes on this bus endless.
