Africa Matters Initiative (AMI), a youth-led organisation empowering young African leaders and change-makers, is refreshing its brand identity to mark 10 years of impact. We are seeking a volunteer graphic designer/brand identity expert to co-create a new visual direction that reflects our growth, bold future vision, and continued commitment to empowering African youth. Responsibilities Conduct a light brand audit (existing logo, color palette, materials) Design a refreshed logo (and logo variations for light/dark/social) Develop a brand style guide including: Color palette, Typography, Logo usage guide, Brand moodboard or inspiration. 1–2 primary logo concepts (in SVG, PNG, and vector formats) Deliverable: A simplified brand guide (PDF or Canva/Figma), Editable templates (Figma, Canva, or PowerPoint), Short rationale for the visual direction. Ideal Skills/Tools: Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva Pro), Experience in brand identity and working with nonprofits/youth-led orgs. Passion for African youth empowerment and storytelling, Bonus: motion design or social media design experience

- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
