Help The Men Carve NPC with 15 volunteers for Food parcels, groceries, storage and distribution
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
The Men Carve supports vulnerable students and communities experiencing food insecurity. We are seeking partners and donors who can assist us with food donations, food storage facilities, and equipment to strengthen our food security initiatives. We welcome donations of non-perishable food, groceries, and essential food supplies. We also need secure food storage space, shelving, refrigeration facilities, and a fridge to help us store donated food appropriately. Access to soup kitchen facilities and cooking equipment would help us prepare and distribute meals to people in need. Our goal is to establish **two soup kitchens and meal programmes** to provide food support to vulnerable students and community members. We also aim to support schools through food parcel donations and school painting initiatives that help create cleaner, more welcoming learning environments. Supermarkets, food suppliers, restaurants, businesses, and community members can support us through donated goods, equipment, storage facilities, painting materials, cooking equipment, or partnerships. Your contribution will help us improve food collection, storage, preparation, and distribution, support school improvement initiatives, and reach more vulnerable students and communities.

Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
