Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
We are gearing up for a wonderful Mandela Day at Viva Connect, Cullinan! We will have 4 main activity focus areas: 1. The Viva Food Forest & Vegetable Gardens: Tending trees, fertilising, watering, and creating beds, as well as planting vegetable seedlings, watering and weeding. 2. Renovating the Playground for the Pre-School & Foundation Phase children. 3. Painting classrooms. 4. General assisting including spring-cleaning and getting the campus ready for the children's return after the Winter Holidays. We would like to provide information, a location pin and liaise with you. For this purpose, would you please send your WhatsApp number? IMPORTANT: a) Please let us know if you are coming and at what time. b) Wear work clothes and proper shoes. c) Bring own work gloves and if possible gardening tools if you are choosing garden work - we do have a limited number of tools available. d) If possible, please bring a donation e.g. potting soil, vegetable seedlings, cleaning products etc. It is also possible to make financial contributions to make the day possible - please see our need for this specifically. e) Come with friends! Please invite your peers and colleagues and make a day of it at Viva Connect, Cullinan. We look forward to welcoming you! If there is anything else you would like to do, please let us know.
