Library Week 2026 – Reclaiming Knowledge and Empowering Futures Event Overview Library Week is a national celebration of the power of books and libraries to transform lives. This year, under the theme Reclaiming Knowledge and Empowering Futures, Project Literacy will host a vibrant school based event featuring: • Book covering and preservation activities. • Workshops for learners and teachers on the Dewey Decimal System. • Performances by children showcasing their comprehension of books provided. • Key notes from collaborating Organisations Partnership Opportunities We invite your organisation to partner with us in making this celebration impactful. Your support will include: • Refreshments for learners – ensuring every child is nourished and energized to participate fully. • Volunteers (10–15 recommended) – assisting with book covering, indexing, and guiding learners through activities. • Workshop Contribution – bringing a gazebo for visibility Visibility & Recognition As a corporate partner, your organisation will receive: • Prominent recognition during the event program and opening remarks. • Media and social media acknowledgment as a key supporter of literacy and education. • Direct engagement with learners, teachers, and community stakeholders.
