RivLife Community Centre

RivLife Community Centre is a registered Non-Profit Organisation with the Department of Social Development and have been in existence since 2005. We are located in Eastwood, Pietermaritzburg and serve primarily the Ward 34 and 38 communities. These communities are plagued by unemployment, poverty, gender-based violence, crime and risky lifestyle choices. In response, RivLife has established 4 pillars (social development, physical upliftment, economic empowerment, and spiritual care) to support and empower our communities. Our programs are sustainable and created with our beneficiaries in mind, some of which include free health clinics, career expos for low-fee paying schools, food aid, teenage crisis counselling, skills develpoment and gender empowerment initiatives.
