Help Jozi Trails Environmental by Donating heavy duty grass cutting equipment for cutting grass & clearing alien vegetation on the trail

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Jozi Trails is responsible for maintaining and protecting the 37km long public nature trail along the Braamforntein Spruit in Johannesburg. This includes cutting grass and clearing alien vegetation along the river and parklands that form the trail. Currently, Jozi Trails relies on help from Joburg City Parks and Zoo for heavy duty equipment such as tractors and grass cutting equipment. This is provided when the equipment is not being used for JCPZ's park maintenance responsibilities elsewhere in the city. We also rely on community volunteers who have their own equipment and time to do work on the trails on weekends. Jozi Trails is seeking to acquire its own equipment that will allow us to maintain the trails continuously, 7 days a week. As a small underfunded NGO, we cannot purchase the equipment we need. We are therefore looking for support to acquire used equipment at a nominal cost or to have equipment donated to us.
