General Objective: Minimizing the usage of drugs and alcohol of the children, youth and the adults of Moses kotane by developing their attitudes and abilities. Specific Objectives: The proposed project intends to achieve the following specific objective within the project period of 1 year. • Implementing drug prevention programmes in the rural and plantation areas and in school level within the authority areas of Moses kotane District and to create a positive change of the target groups at the end of the year 2025. • Formation of 15 groups of students in 15 selected schools in Moses kotane district at the end of year 2025. • Formation of 15 groups of community members in 15 selected community in the Moses kotane district at the end of year 2025. • Provide information on the risks associated with drug use, including the increased likelihood of engaging in risky behaviours that can lead to HIV transmission. We are going to raise awareness about the connection between substance abuse and HIV. • We will offer services such as HIV testing, access to condoms, and resources for substance abuse treatment. By combining efforts to prevent drug use with initiatives to promote HIV prevention and testing, we will address multiple risk factors simultaneously and provide comprehensive support to at-risk individuals.
