Help Where Rainbows Meet Training and Development Foundation by Soccer / Football Equipment & Clothing for Supporting Our Rainbow Chiefs Soccer Games

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Supporting Our Rainbow Chiefs Soccer Games The Rainbow Chiefs Soccer Club is the in-centre soccer club we run as part of our Youth Programme. The soccer club is important in keeping teenagers socialising positively with each other, giving them an entertaining and expressive outlet and keeping them off the streets. Teenage dropout rates are high and our Youth Programme supports their wellbeing and education to combat this. Donations of soccer balls, activewear clothing, shin pads and soccer shoes are needed to help keep our teenagers in Vrygrond part of an ongoing safe sports community. Direct donations or in the cash equivalent can be arranged through contacting Mymoena or Kyle using the information on www.whererainbowsmeet.org!

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
