African Blessings provides a safe, nurturing home for vulnerable children placed in our care through formal child protection processes. Our children’s village is built around an integrated, home based care system, where children live in small family style homes with dedicated caregivers who provide love, routine, stability and a strong sense of belonging. Our approach goes beyond basic care. Many children arrive with developmental delays, emotional trauma, speech challenges or learning barriers, so we combine daily home care with early childhood education and therapeutic support. Occupational therapy helps children develop fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, concentration and independence. Speech therapy supports language development, communication, confidence and emotional expression. Equine therapy is also an important part of our programme.
