The Society for Animals in Distress mandate is to ensure access to professional veterinary services and animal-care education in impoverished areas of Gauteng and sterilisation outreaches throughout South Africa. Upholds values and a culture of absolute integrity and excellence by serving animals in a way that uplifts communities and is respectful of impoverished clients and their wider society. A 63-year history of accomplishment across animals, people, environment, and community development in areas the organisation is called on to serve. The long-term goal is simple: to create a South Africa where people and animals thrive.
