Help Ernest Foundation by donating a washing machine for clean school uniforms for children

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Ernest Foundation is seeking the donation of a functional washing machine to provide a crucial service for vulnerable children in Orange Farm, South Africa. Many children in our community come from homes where parents face immense challenges, including a lack of access to basic washing facilities, making it difficult to keep school uniforms clean. A dedicated washing machine at our facility will allow us to: Ensure Clean Uniforms: Provide children with clean school uniforms, promoting hygiene, dignity, and a sense of pride as they attend school. Support School Attendance: Eliminate a common barrier to school attendance. Children are often shy or bullied if their uniforms are dirty, leading them to miss valuable learning time. Alleviate Family Stress: Reduce the burden on parents who struggle with limited resources or access to proper washing facilities. Promote Health and Well-being: Contribute to better hygiene practices and overall health for the children in our programs. We are looking for a durable, functional washing machine (top-loader or front-loader) that can handle regular use. Your donation will directly impact the daily lives of these children, helping them to feel more confident, comfortable, and prepared for their education. It's an investment in their future. Drop-off Location: The Ernest Foundation, 9929 Stretford 6, Orange Farm, 1841.Contact for Pick-up/Enquiries: 068 412 5933 or ernestfoundation1@gmail.com
