Help National Rescue for Poverty & Drugs by 🧱 Help Us Build Hope – One Brick at a Time 🧱 for After-School Centre
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
National Rescue for Poverty and Drugs is building a safe, nurturing After-School Centre for children in our community — a place where they can learn, grow, and dream beyond the limits of poverty and violence. But we can't finish it without your help. We urgently need building materials — bricks, cement, timber, roofing, paint, and more — to complete the centre and open its doors to the children who need it most. 💛 Why It Matters: Every donation helps create a space where children can receive tutoring, meals, mentorship, and emotional support — keeping them off the streets and away from danger. 🏗️ What You Can Give: • Bricks, cement, sand • Roofing sheets, timber, nails • Paint, plumbing supplies, windows • Or any other building materials you can spare 📍 Where to Donate: Drop-off location: email : donations1@nationalrescue.co.za Or contact us to arrange collection: -68 289 1580 🙏 Be Part of the Foundation of Change. Your donation builds more than walls — it builds futures.
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
