Every building in our Training and Development Centre provides an opportunity for the communities of Vrygrond to feel valued as people, as women, as men, as children. Our buildings – especially our classrooms, garden, kitchen, sewing centre, shop and head office – are all needing constant maintenance, protection and repair especially during the rainy winter and the hot, dry summers of Cape Town. Building materials such as white tiling and wood to repair current and build new flooring and structures and tarp to act as roof protection above the kitchen are needed.
