Help Thokoza Progressive Youth by Donating devices, laptops, PCs and IT related support for TPY Training Programme
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Thokoza Progressive Youth (TPY) Will Use Donated Devices and IT-Related Support At Thokoza Progressive Youth (TPY), every donated device and every contribution of IT-related support is treated as an investment in changing lives, creating opportunities, and building stronger communities. Donated laptops, desktop computers, networking equipment, printers, software, accessories, internet connectivity, and other technology resources will be used to establish and strengthen our Community Innovation & Technology Centre, where young people and community members gain access to quality digital education and career opportunities. These resources will enable TPY to: • Deliver internationally recognised ICT certification programmes, including CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Networking, and Software Development. • Provide hands-on practical training using industry-standard equipment to prepare learners for the modern workplace. • Expand our digital literacy programmes for unemployed youth, women, school learners, and community members who have limited or no access to technology. • Create a shared computer laboratory where students can complete assignments, prepare for certification exams, conduct online research, apply for jobs, and develop digital skills. • Support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing access to technology for business planning, online marketing, e-commerce, graphic design, and business administration. • Deliver community ICT outreach programmes, coding clubs, robotics workshops, cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and digital inclusion initiatives. • Establish a device refurbishment programme where donated equipment is repaired, upgraded, and redistributed to deserving students and community projects whenever possible. • Strengthen TPY's capacity to provide IT support services, digital innovation projects, and community technology solutions that generate sustainable income to reinvest into youth development programmes. Beyond education, donated technology will directly improve employability by equipping participants with practical experience using the tools and systems expected in today's workplaces. Many of our graduates come from underserved communities where access to computers and reliable internet remains limited. Your donation helps bridge this digital divide and opens doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. We are committed to ensuring that every donated resource is used responsibly, maintained appropriately, and managed transparently to maximise its impact. Through proper asset management, regular maintenance, and ongoing monitoring, TPY will ensure that every contribution delivers lasting value to the communities we serve. By partnering with Thokoza Progressive Youth, you are doing more than donating technology—you are investing in future software developers, cybersecurity professionals, network engineers, entrepreneurs, digital innovators, and community leaders who will use their skills to transform lives and contribute to South Africa's digital economy. Together, we can empower communities through technology, unlock opportunities through education, and build a future where every young person has the digital skills to succeed.
