Help Woodrock Animal Rescue by Gazebos Needed: Shade & Shelter for Woodrock Pop-Pups, Events & Outreaches
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Woodrock Animal Rescue is in desperate need of gazebos. Every weekend, our team heads out into the community with our rescue dogs for Pop-Up adoption events and outreaches. These days are vital — they help us find loving homes, raise essential funds, and spread awareness so that more animals can be saved. Outreaches are one of the most important parts of what we do. A Woodrock outreach is when our rescue team goes into vulnerable communities to provide hands-on support for animals and the people who love them. These visits often include distributing food to families who are struggling to feed their pets, offering guidance on responsible pet care, educating children and adults about animal welfare, and identifying animals in urgent need of help. In many cases, we find neglected, injured, abandoned or abused animals — and we step in to rescue, treat and rehabilitate them. But right now, we simply don’t have enough gazebos to keep these efforts running safely and consistently. In the harsh sun, strong winds, and sudden rain, gazebos are not a “nice-to-have” — they’re essential. They provide shade and shelter for our animals, our staff, and our volunteers, and they make it possible for us to keep working even when the weather turns. What your support will do Your donation will help Woodrock: Provide safe shade and shelter for rescue dogs during Pop-Ups and outreaches Protect volunteers and staff while fundraising, educating and doing adoptions Maintain a safe, professional setup for community events Keep adoptions and outreach running consistently, rain or shine Raise more funds to support the animals currently in our care Calling all Woodrock Warriors, Sponsors & Businesses We’re reaching out to our Woodrock Warrior community, sponsors, corporates and businesses — and anyone who has the heart to help. If your business would like to donate or sponsor a gazebo, you’ll be helping us show up where it matters most: in the community, where lives change. What we need We welcome donations of: Pop-up gazebos (new or good-quality used) Funding towards gazebos Gazebo weights (for wind safety) Side panels for weather protection (optional but helpful) Branding / printing (corporate sponsorship welcome) Gazebos might seem simple — but for Woodrock, they mean safety, visibility, consistency, and more adoptions. From every paw at Woodrock… thank you for standing with us. Acta Non Verba — actions, not words.
