Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

“A man is not a man until he has a house of his own” – Nelson Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. PLEASE NOTE: Any amount, no matter how small or how LARGE, will go toward a title deed for someone in need. Do not be put off by the overall cost or R3,750 per title. DONATE R50, R100, R250 - every cent helps! Khaya Lam facilitates and fully finances the transfer of home ownership from municipalities to legal township tenants, converting “dead capital” into “dynamic capital”. This process provides families with title deeds to their rental properties allowing them to build generational wealth. At just R3,750 per transfer, Khaya Lam has to date provided over 21,000 township residents with title deeds. Approximately 1,2 million council properties remain to be transferred. The tangible benefits of ownership: The transfer of a title deed provides more than just a piece of paper; it delivers fundamental benefits: – Security of tenure: Families gain permanent, legal rights to their homes. – Pride and dignity: Ownership instills hope and a sense of belonging. – Economic empowerment: Homeowners become bankable, gaining access to credit. – Incentive to invest: With legal ownership, families are motivated to improve and invest in their properties. – Revenue for municipalities: Titled properties contribute to increased rates income, benefiting local governance. About us: Khaya Lam is a project of the Free Market Foundation (FMF). The FMF has been South Africa’s premier advocate of individual liberty, private property, free enterprise, and limited constitutional government since 1975. The FMF stands for the right of all individuals to freely pursue their own aspirations without unwanted interference. This foundational motivation animates all of our work, and gives rise to our core principles.
