Help Human Rights Screened Foundation raise R5,000 for Overhead Costs for the Heritage Day Fun Sports Challeng
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
The Human Rights Screened Foundation is hosting the Play for Change – Sports Challenge on 24 September 2025 at the Western Province Cricket Club. This unique event will unite sporting legends, community members, and vulnerable groups in raising awareness around Gender-Based Violence prevention and promoting the Universal Hand Signal for Help. While the broader campaign is designed to reach more than 500,000 people across the Western Cape through brochures, info videos, and community engagement, we are seeking immediate support of R5,000 to cover essential overhead costs linked to this event. Your contribution will directly support: * Venue-related operational needs * Coordination and logistics * Transport and refreshments for vulnerable participants (including GBV survivors and homeless women in shelters) This small but vital amount will help us ensure the day runs smoothly and that the campaign launch has maximum impact. Every rand goes towards creating a safer and more informed society. Potential funders living in the Western Cape can join the fun event that includes a Hockey penalty Shootout by non hockey players in the morning section and a cricket batting & bowling challenge also by non-cricketers in the afternoon session.... If you are interested in joining in the challenge or attending the event at tyhe Western Province Cricket Club please email Sheila Moonsamy ...sheilam@hrsfoundation.co.za for more information
