Help Human Rights Screened Foundation raise R16,650 for 45 x R370.00 of the The Basics of Film Making Books
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
We are raising funds to purchase 45 copies of “The Basics of Filmmaking” for our GBV Skills Development Programme launching soon in the Western Cape. The Human Rights Screened Foundation uses film and storytelling to expose human rights violations with intense After Care Programmes that include Skills Development programmes and Job Placements, This programme is aimed at turning victims into victors by equipping women & Men who are victims of GBV with practical filmmaking skills. It’s specifically designed for parolees (many incarcerated for defending themselves against GBV), the homeless women, and Vicytims in shelters. We believe in teaching to fish, not just handing out a fish. That’s why this training can be seen as the rod as its sustainable . The project includes job-readiness and access to a growing network in the film industry. Graduates will join our national Universal Hand Signal for Help campaign and be placed in an international entry-level crew database — opening doors to real employment and growth. We're also collaborating with other organisations to roll this out in other provinces, because the GBV pandemic needs massive and united action for real change. If you want to be a part of the GBV/Hand Signal for help awarness Campaign and for more details of our Partnerships as well as case studies email sheilam@hrsfoundation or whatsap 063 400 3577. Our theme is "Once Upon a Time..." — because every person deserves a happy ending. #DontBeNext
