Vodacom Change the World 2025: What does it mean to change the world?

Be the next Change the World Psychosocial Support Coordinator
Getting involved couldn’t be easier. Vodacom is looking for passionate professionals to join its volunteering programme as Psychosocial Support Coordinators in the following provinces:
Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, North West and Western Cape,
In this role, you’ll:
- Train learners, educators, school management teams and children’s clubs on the Change the World Psychosocial Support Package.
- Monitor the success of the programme and address challenges alongside school management teams.
- Represent Vodacom at district meetings and manage key relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide capacity building, mentoring, and psychosocial support to schools.
Who should apply?
We’re looking for proactive individuals with strong facilitation and negotiation skills who meet the following criteria:
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in social work or a relevant four-year qualification in Social Sciences (a postgraduate qualification would be advantageous).
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Sound knowledge of school health policies and child protection legislation.
Experience:
- Experience in designing and implementing therapeutic programmes for children.
- Demonstrated work in prevention and support for children affected by gender-based violence.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage with government and community stakeholders.
